This Sunday marks the 7th year since we rescued Botlz, our giant Asian pond turtle. He overcame the atrocities of poaching, smuggling, being runover by a truck and years of confinement. To see him in the back wild where he will be protected was gratifying, a sentient being, finally has his freedom back.

Now, 50 Indian star tortoises who also have their own journey of struggles, and will be returning to their home in India on 26 November 2018. And they need your help urgently.
