Soi Dog is happy to announce the adoption of Genius, one of our long-term residents at the shelter. Genius was brought to the shelter 6 years ago with an extremely swollen hind leg. Unfortunately, her injury was too extensive and the vets were unable to save her leg. Thanks to supporters like you, Genius received the care necessary to heal and patience necessary to grow in confidence. While she still was very shy at the shelter, she was able to connect with a very special volunteer that spent time in her enclosure.

From day 1 Marlen knew that Genius was the one for her! It has been a long wait, but they are finally reunited. Genius left the shelter last Thursday and has settled into her new home. We wish Marlen and Genius well and cannot wait to hear all about their life together. Thank you to all our kind sponsors who supported Genius’ ongoing care over the past 6 years! You compassion and dedication is truly wonderful! ❤️
