It was 10 weeks ago that Mitzi was found at the bottom of a deep hole. We will never know how she got there, but she is extremely lucky to be alive. Please go to https://emergency.soidog.org/ert to help countless other desperate street animals.

Two of our Animal Rescue Officers were out in the course of their duties when they heard the crying. They were deep in a jungle area and the sound was very faint at first. But as they followed it, it got louder and they realised it was coming from a deep hole. Mitzi lay at the bottom of it.

One of the officers was lowered down the hole to Mitzi, where he was able to tie a rope around her body which meant the other office could slowly raise her from the hole. Mitzi trembled in fear. She was shockingly skinny and covered in ticks and fleas. We will never know how long she was down there.

Will you please join the Emergency Response Team with a small monthly gift to provide vulnerable homeless animals with life-saving care? Pups like Mitzi simply have no hope without you. Please click here to start helping now: https://emergency.soidog.org/ert

Mitzi was just a few months old when found, and this ordeal has left her more cautious of humans than other pups her age. She is living with a kind member of Soi Dog staff, who is taking care of this delicate little girl at her home, and working hard every day to build her confidence. She will soon be looking for a family to take her in, and keep her safe and loved like she should have been from the moment she was born. Can you give this precious puppy a home? Please email adoptions@soidog.org.

Thank you.
