Kamalo did have a family once … they dumped him outside and moved home, leaving him terrified and completely alone. He was born with a leg deformity and cannot walk without dragging his back legs across the hot concrete. Kamalo needed help, and those he trusted and loved were the ones who didn’t care. Please help other homeless animals who need someone to speak on their behalf https://emergency.soidog.org/ert.

We will never understand how a person could find it in their heart to abandon such an innocent animal, who looked to them for everything. Kamalo waited for his owners to return for days, before dragging his back legs down roads looking for anything to eat. He was starving. Can you imagine the moment he realised they had left for good? It is heartbreaking. Luckily, he was spotted desperately looking through trash, and was brought to the shelter.

Please help these rescues to continue. Homeless animals who have nobody else who will help them. Please pledge a small monthly gift now that will be used to rescue and heal these souls https://emergency.soidog.org/ert.

Kamalo was given a second chance and he is now in the care of the Soi Dog hospital staff, who are working on improving his ability to walk by means of surgery and physiotherapy. He has a way to go, but he is safe and will never be abandoned again. He will never feel that desperation, and fear.

That is thanks to the kind and compassionate animal lovers whose monthly donations fund life-saving medical treatment for suffering animals who have nobody else. Their kindness brings light into a dark world of suffering and allows these vulnerable animals to heal and learn to trust again. Please, please join them. https://emergency.soidog.org/ert.

Thank you.
