This is Tapayak. He was found with a painful wound on his paw. We don’t know what caused it, but it was infected when he arrived at our shelter and he was in a lot of distress. It could have been an accident, or he could be the victim of animal cruelty. Either way, he desperately needs your help.

Will you please go to https://emergency.soidog.org/ert and fund life-saving medical care and shelter for animals that have nobody else? In addition to the wound, Tapayak had a large abscess inside his mouth. This was making it torturous just to eat. He was dehydrated, and in pain that would be difficult to imagine. Animals like him are so completely dependent on your compassion. Will you please help them?

Tapayak has started his medication now, including pain relief and antibiotics. The wound on his paw needs regular cleaning and dressing. This poor boy has a long road ahead of him, but we are determined to help him heal and give him a second chance at life.

Homeless dogs like Tapayak have nobody if they don’t have you. There is no government funding, no other source of help for them. There is only you. Will you please go to https://emergency.soidog.org/ert and pledge a small monthly gift so that more animals like him can be helped?

Your gift will fund the rescue, life-saving medical treatment, and shelter of countless homeless animals. It will save stray dogs and cats from a lifetime of abuse, neglect, sickness, and injury. It will fund mass spaying and neutering efforts so that fewer animals are born into these horrific situations. It simply cannot and will not happen without you.

Go to https://emergency.soidog.org/ert now to pledge whatever you can. Because suffering dogs like this have nobody else.

Thank you.
