It shows a street cat trying to revive her dead friend. It’s like doing CPR, which I was told, is a natural thing for animals to do for their loved ones. I remember when Mac passed away, Bobby did this “CPR” on Mac many, many times, and each time he paused, he would look at us in distress, although saying, “Why isn’t Mac moving?”. Although the two fought for 13 years, towards the end, Bobby still tried very hard to revive Mac, his lifelong buddy.
The skeptics call it an instinctive response because they simply refuse to believe that animals have feelings, too.
I’d rather call it love and care.
