KITTEN RESCUED FROM BUS STOP BENCH

KITTEN RESCUED FROM BUS STOP BENCH

In the wee hours of 30 Oct, we received a call on our emergency hotline about a kitten which was trapped under a metal seat at a bus stop along Yio Chu Kang Road. The caller stated that the kitten had been stuck inside for three days without food or water.

Our animal rescue officer proceeded to the scene and heard a loud mewing coming from under one of the seats. He managed to reach the kitten and lift it out of the area unharmed. He brought the kitten back to SPCA where our clinic gave it a basic medical check in the morning. It is now being fostered by one of our loving fosterers.

In a situation where time is of the essence as an animal requires immediate assistance, please call our 24-hour emergency hotline at 6287 5355 (ext 9) as our emails and social media channels are not manned all the time.

For potential adopters, this black and white coloured kitten will be up for adoption soon! Stay tuned to our adoption gallery webpage here http://www.spca.org.sg/services.asp. We update with new animals on a weekly basis, so you may wish to check back every now and then.
