Her name is Fawn. Her appearance is heart-breaking. Fawn arrived at our shelter totally emaciated and refusing food. She was dehydrated and battling blood parasites. Fawn is homeless, with no owner to care for her. Will you please go to https://bit.ly/Saving_Fawn to help her get the medical care she needs?Fawn had a condition called pancytopenia, a blood disorder that meant her red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets were all low in number. This was most likely caused by suppression of her bone marrow, which may be the result of parvo-virus or a bacterial infection. Fawn was incredibly frail and weak when she arrived, her hip bones protruding. She was scared and confused. Homeless dogs like her really do have nowhere to turn when they are sick. You are the only hope they have. Will you please go to https://bit.ly/Saving_Fawn to join the Emergency Response Team to help? This gorgeous girl was immediately started on medication and IV fluids and gradually, her strength is returning. Over the course of several weeks, she slowly began to eat again – tiny amounts at first, but eventually progressing to three meals a day. Despite this, she remained very skinny and was diagnosed with another condition that meant her body was not producing the enzymes needed to digest her food.Fawn will be on a special diet and medication for the rest of her life, in order to effectively manage her condition. Now imagine what would have happened to her all alone, trying to survive on the streets. She simply wouldn’t have. Please go to https://bit.ly/Saving_Fawn and join the Emergency Response Team so that suffering street animals can get the life-saving medical treatment they need and deserve. With no government funding, they just won’t make it without you.A small monthly gift from you truly will be the difference between life and death for countless animals like Fawn. Please act now. Thank you.
