Wetlands are the most diverse ecosystems on our planet 🌎

They supply us with water and food, provide the best natural defences against extreme floods and storms, help mitigate climate change and provide homes to 40% of all the world’s species.

Yet, ⅓ of the world’s wetlands were lost between 1970-2015. And they are still being lost at an alarming rate.

Today, 170 countries are gathering in Dubai for the world’s most important wetlands conference to try and halt the destruction. And WWF will be playing a key role. Find out more about #ValuingWetlands https://pand.as/2RI73gR
