Abandoned pets are companion animals that are either inadvertently or deliberately cast off by their owners. This frequently occurs since the outbreak of rabies in July 2017.

Three young puppies were found in a gunny sack and left at our animal shelter gate. The dogs are suffocating inside the gunny sack, and easily to be murdered if one discovered it late. The whole thing was not only sad but utterly baffling—who the hell would do this and why?!

Spay your female dog to avoid unnecessary litters. If finance is your constraint, keep the female dog in cage while on-heat. If it were to late to save from mating, rehome the litters accordingly. Be a reponsible pet owner.

Bring your dogs for free anti-rabies vaccination. It is your responsibility to ensure that your pet is vaccination yearly, not the society. As long as you take good care of your pet, the least you need to worry about them having rabies.

Your pet is your responsibility. Take charge of your pet’s well-being today.
