Thank You Very Much (September 2018 Donors)

What a month it has been!!
We are still drawing on our reserves so it’s time that we have to ask for your support again. On the average, we are short by at least RM5000 every month, but luckily we have reserves so we have been surviving on this since January this year. Our monthly donations are insufficient to cover the number of claims we pay out every month. This has been happening since last year, actually.
We also have not been holding auctions anymore because I don’t really have time to sew anymore. Also, I think the auction “craze” has passed as well. And we don’t participate in events because we have nothing much to sell at events. Let’s not take up a free booth and deprive another organisation which has things to sell. I’m also very, very shorthanded when it comes to events. Events take up 3 long, long days and it’s very tiring if you are single-handed.
So, let’s try something else. I think we have many readers and followers, so if you would like to help us keep going and are able to contribute even RM10 a month, it would certainly help a lot! The way I figured, if we have 500 readers (I think we do!) who are willing to contribute RM10 a month, that would do the trick already.
Of, if you prefer to support us through our merchandising, do take a look at what we have: https://myanimalcare.org/gifts/
Maybe buy your shampoo, soap, etc. or your petfood from us?
Or, direct donation:

This month’s Neutering Aid:
Number of animals neutered this month: 209 (63 dogs & 146 cats)
Amount sponsored this month: RM14,980.00
Recipients of the Neutering Aid: https://myanimalcare.org/category/cnrm/
As always, please accept our most grateful thanks to everyone who has supported us in the past and who is still supporting us now! Thank you so, so much!
Come next May, we would have done this for TEN years! I truly hope we can reach this milestone…and beyond! I have a medical condition where I get sick for long periods (months), then get well (I’m currently well) and the cycle repeats – it’s a biological condition which has no cure. Despite this, I’m willing to carry on running AnimalCare, literally through thick and thin (!), so I hope more of our readers and followers will help us with donations.
There are still so many street animals out there who need neutering help. There is still a very, very long way to go. Many of our applicants have become good friends with me and they often wish me “a long life” so that I can continue running AnimalCare because they really, really need the financial aid from us. They often tell me that at the dumping grounds, there is really no end – people just keep dumping animals. And these poor animals will breed for the rest of their lives if not neutered. Another applicant just told me that in her area, there are so many abandoned animals that she cannot even get them neutered in time before their next heat cycle.
So, AnimalCare is helping, as much as we can. Our donations are solely for neutering. We don’t use it for anything else – no rescue, no medical payments, no shelter – only neutering. Every single sen is given to neutering. And we would like to go on helping for as long as possible.
But I cannot do it alone. I can do all the paper work, but for fundraising, we need your help.
