Vincent’s Day

Vincent had a very early breakfast at 5.00am this morning.

He now likes to spend time upstairs. And he knows how to use our bathroom too – right at the drainhole.

Another meal at 11.25am. I had read that rabbit and poultry are suitable for CKD cats. Vincent is eating a rabbit meal provided by a friend.

He still likes variety – so it was the rabbit, Cubgrub and canned chicken.

Subcut was at done at 2.20pm.

250ml – all done. Without struggle.

What a good boy!

He had another meal at 2.30pm.

He did not want rabbit anymore now. He wanted canned food, Cubgrub and his chicken chunks. I’m glad he is finally eating Cubgrub again (it’s nutritionally balanced).

Remember late last night Vincent actually tipped the scales at 3.2kg? Well, it must have been due to the hydration (subcut) and the 6 meals. This morning, he weighed only 2.9kg. That is still better than the previous 2.5kg. Hopefully, we shall see a gradual increase.

I was called out of the house shortly after that and could not return until about 7.00pm.

Another meal at 7.00pm!

Tomorrow is Vincent’s appoint at the vet. We hope we can do something for him. It will all depend on his hydration level.
