Finally, Vincent Eats Cubgrub Again!

Yay!!

Vincent is really going for a variety of foods now.

At 5.45pm, he came to the kitchen asking for food again.

I gave him a can of Cindy’s Tender Chicken – he ate. This time I mixed some home-cooked food in it – he didn’t mind it. He continued eating.

So tasty that even Ginger wants to share?

Aww…isn’t this cute?

I had a feeling that Vincent is going back to his old foods now, so I decided to try putting some Cubgrub on top of his food. So far, he has turned away (and even walked out in protest) when I offer Cubgrub.

I don’t know why. Maybe he associates his old foods with the time he was gradually falling ill?  Perhaps.

But today…

Oh my goodness, oh my goodness…I was almost jumping for joy!

Vincent licked the Cubgrub and ate it all up!!!!!!

Then, I gave some more Cubgrub and he ate it up again!!

He is eating his old foods again. Vincent used to be on home-cooked and Cubgrub and he used to love Cubgrub too.

He finished eating and decided to leave to drink water.

Then, he came back and…

…ate some more.

I think he still prefers the canned food. And why is this so?

Hah….because the vet said so!!

Believe it or not?  You tell me.  Vincent listens to his vets. I have photo evidence…ha ha.

I showed the photos to the vet, and the vet is really happy too. Instead of Friday, now she wants to see Vincent on Wednesday and determine if he is hydrated enough for the next step of the treatment plan.

Praying that all will go well for Vincent….
