Jackie Laid To Rest In Melaka

Catherina came down to UPM to collect Jackie's remains this morning.

Jackie has been laid to rest now, back home, in Melaka.

She is already in a better place now, free from suffering and pain.

We wish Catherina strength, calm and peace in her heart.

Time heals.

Meanwhile, Catherina has already Frontlined all her other cats. Our vet explained that Hemobart is caused by a parasite carried by fleas. She likened the disease to dengue fever where all it takes is just one flea that carries the parasite. Hemobart is not transmittable from one infected cat to another. It is only transmitted by fleas. It is something like tick fever in dogs. Catherina suspects Jackie could have got the infection while boarding at the vet's.

Please Frontline (or use any other method of flea control on) your animals.
