My Vet Clinic is seeking a Veterinary Assistant for full-time employment.

6-day work week from 9 am – 4 pm.

Salary range RM1,700 – RM2,000.

Training will be provided. Experience is preferred but not necessary.

Job Description

• Feed medication to hospitalised or boarded dogs and cats as needed.

• Restrain pets for veterinarian.

• Prepare surgical equipment including folding gauze, sterilising surgical equipment, and packing surgical equipment.

• Clean clinic facilities (including exam room, surgery room, and doctor’s office).

• Perform other duties as assigned by the veterinarian.

Skill Required

• Able to perform tasks in an organised and efficient manner.

• Able to communicate with the veterinarian regarding the health status of animals.

• Able to work in a group.

• Able to receive and perform instructions.

• Caring towards animals.

• Righteousness.

PAWS

PAWS was founded in 1987 by a small group of local and expatriate volunteers. Through their generosity and imagination, PAWS was constructed on a patch of land owned by Sime Plantations on the Subang Airport Road. This distinct group of sheds and a courtyard still stands today and currently homes around 400 cats and dogs.

The staff that work at PAWS include one veterinary surgeon and a number of full-time personnel. The organisation depends entirely on the generosity of the public through donations or proceeds from charitable events organized and run by volunteers.
