Our vets estimate that Tiga is about 2 years old. He was found with the most horrendous wound on his head. Tiga is a street dog. Seriously infected and infested with maggots, it was clear that he was suffering unbearably. He was also weak, infested with ticks, and horribly emaciated. In addition to the serious infection, Tiga was diagnosed as being severely anaemic. Thanks to people like you, he is now safe and getting the help he desperately needed. Without the kind donations that fund this treatment for Tiga and countless others, these animals would have no hope. Left untreated, the infection in Tiga’s wound would have progressed, eventually leading to blood poisoning and a slow and painful death.
