Poppy was rescued with an injured leg sometime in August this year. Surgery was done where a pin was inserted to mend the fracture, but complications arose after that, and to cut a long story short, another surgery was needed.
This second surgery has been done now, and Joanne has requested for financial aid. We have subsidised RM200 for this second surgery as well as RM20 for vaccination and deworming. Total subsidy = RM220.
From Joanne Lim:
Poppy's surgery has been done last night and vet spent ard 5 hours as bone callus has formed and there were a lot to break b4 inserting the steel pin into the bone. Bone grafting was done to help healing of the fracture area. And also external fixation to stabilise n prevent the fractures from rotating sideways.
Attached are the pics of Poppy pre and after operation. Poppy is fine and eating well after surgery. She is now boarding at the clinic.
