COUNTDOWN TO NATIONAL DAY 2018

In the countdown to National Day 2018, we will be featuring a series of our very own local breed of cats and dogs in our shelter!

#4 Heathcliff the Domestic Shorthair

★ Cheeky and curious by nature

★ Loves interacting with humans and other cats i.e. a social butterfly

His story: Heathcliff was surrendered to the SPCA in February 2018 as his previous owners were not able to care for him. Despite his sad background story, he kept his spirits up and was soon known as the social butterfly in the cattery. Heathcliff, like the cat in George Gately’s 1973 comic strip, has a mischievous and comical personality. Once you step foot into the cattery, you will not miss this friendly pink-nosed cat who will come up to you to purr hello!
