WWF-Malaysia is trying to save the Malayan tiger in the Belum-Temengor forest complex. Our teams have found an increasing number of active snares and poacher camps.

“We can still save tigers by enabling more enforcement boots on the ground with the aid of the army and police, and by stepping-up intelligence on wildlife poaching and trade syndicates that lead to arrests and prosecution,” said WWF-Malaysia Tiger Landscape Lead Dr Mark Rayan Darmaraj in his Sun column.
