As a follow up to yesterday’s Global Tiger Day, Dr. Mark Rayan (WWF-Malaysia’s Tiger Landscape Lead) was interviewed today by Juliet Jacobs on BFM 89.9.

It was a great opportunity for us to discuss how far along we’ve come to reaching our goal of doubling the number of tigers globally by 2022.

We also managed to shed some light on WWF-Malaysia’s efforts towards preventing tiger poaching and how we’re empowering local communities to aid in the protection of tigers.

Incase you missed it, here’s the podcast to catch you up to speed:

All of us from the Tiger Team at WWF-Malaysia would like to thank Juliet and the amazing crew of BFM 89.9 for hosting us and giving us a great platform to discuss our ongoing work.
