Marine turtles play important roles for maintaining healthy marine ecosystems and their survival affects human survival in the long run. To stop threats, such as bycatch, egg poaching and direct-take, we need to stop buying, poaching, and eating turtles, their parts and eggs.

The Si Bokko Kalasahanku month-long roadshow aimed to spread that message. With the Sabah Wildlife Department, WWF-Malaysia and local Community-Based Organisations, we hope that the love and passion for our marine turtles continues to spread.

Officiating the ending was YB Tuan Assafal P. Alian, Tuan Augustine Tuuga, and Dr Haji Chacho bin Haji Bulah. There were performances, booths, speeches and activities; all with one message – to love and care for our marine life.
