While in Sabah on a study visit, North Kalimantan delegates together with WWF-Indonesia are spending some time going elephant watching at Sabah Softwoods Berhad.

The North Kalimantan delegation are in #Sabah to observe and study what plantations here are doing to reduce human-elephant conflict.

Sabah Softwoods Berhad is among the few plantations in Sabah who are committed to managing human-elephant conflict.

The plantation has put in place effective measures to protect elephants within their area and the number of baby #elephants that they have rescued over the years speak volumes about their efforts. Kudos to Sabah Softwoods for their great work! Photo: (c) WWF-Malaysia/Julia Ng @ Sabah, Malaysia
