This creepy thing on a dog’s eye is a condition called persistent pupillary membrane.
It happens when the membrane that supplies blood to the lens of the eye in the developing foetus doesn’t atrophy after birth as it is supposed to.
It’s actually a relatively benign condition that can often be treated just by dilating the pupil 👁
