Here is sharing a question raised on the recent roadkills, and the discussions and concerns shared by many individuals.

Concerns not only for the motorists’ safety but also these animals who end up on the roads due to various reasons.

[Too many roadkills?]

There has been a lot of discussion about the roadkills at the Mandai area and many are concerned about the safety of both motorists and the wild animals. Many want more measures to be put in place.

As such, I’ve filed the following Parliamentary Question for the sitting next week:

“To ask the Minister for National Development (a) what measures have been put in place to reduce the number of roadkills in the Mandai area; (b) whether such measures apply to all areas where there are construction activities near national parks and nature reserves; and (c) when will the hoardings along Mandai Road be completed.”
