⏰This morning our freshwater💧 team in #SetiuWetlands kickstarted a #mangrove nursery at SK Mangkuk with its Primary 4 – 6 students. They will replicate this exercise with SK Kuala #Setiu tomorrow.👩‍🌾👨‍🌾

💪Thanks to a grant from @nre.malaysia (the Ministry of Natural Resources), these students in #Terengganu will have the opportunity to care for and observe the growth of mangrove seedlings such as Nypa fruticans (pokok nipah).🌱

After three months of watering 🚰 and recording their findings📒, the students will transplant the mangrove seedlings from the poly bags to their permanent home: the mangrove forests of #SetiuWetlands.🌊
