I was found lying in the middle of the highway, in a world of pain. I’d been hit by a car and left for dead. And the sad truth is that without the people whose donations funded my care, I would not be alive today. The force of the impact with the car left a nasty wound on my head and fractured one of my legs. The vets also realised I was blind in one eye and that it was causing me terrible pain. On top of all of that, I needed treatment for heartworm.

I needed surgery to remove the eye that was causing me so much suffering. I was also started on treatment for my heartworm and the injuries to my leg and head.
