Ten volunteers from UniKL MIMET (Malaysian Institute of Marine Engineering Technology) with our Marine Conservation Officer, Noor Azariyah Mohtar is working together on beach profiling and shoreline tracing study. This covers 23km of main turtle nesting beaches in Setiu, Kemaman and Dungun districts, and can monitor the impact of climate change towards the turtle nesting beaches. The students recycled metal scraps and turned them into marking signage. This activity is part of the WWF-Malaysia’s Education for Sustainable Development’s Eco School Programme, and it is happening from 6 until 10th April 2018.
