Little Veefern was abandoned in a locked house when her callous owner moved away and abandoned her. She would have died a slow, horrific death of starvation were it not for the support of people like you, that keeps our shelter going.

Thanks to people like you, when she was discovered by a kind neighbour who alerted us, we were able to take her in and care for her.

Veefern now has a wonderful home in the UK with Sophie, who sent us this photograph and this wonderful message:

“Meet the new office supervisor. Veefern already has two beds downstairs in the living room and one on the upstairs landing outside the office but she’s reduced to making do with a pillow now she’s decided she likes to be with me in the office. Obviously bed number four is on its way! This is real progress for a little dog who panicked if I got anywhere near her when she first arrived a month ago.”

Thank you Sophie for giving this special girl such a wonderful, loving home after her horrible experience. And thanks to everyone who donated to help Veefern when she first arrived into our care. It is people like you who make these stories possible.
