REALISING HUMANITIES BEYOND ACADEMIC DISCIPLINE

Students from Punggol Secondary School (Class 3B) and Woodlands Ring Secondary School (Class 4-7) set aside time to reach out to their schoolmates to raise awareness on animal protection issues. It is very encouraging to see these enthusiastic youths going out their way to speak up for the voiceless, and in the process, fundraising a total of $1,200! Furthermore, they helped with gardening chores at our rescue centre – a great relief for us because staff may focus on more pressing animal matters.

Thank You, teachers and all the students involved, for your generous contribution and commitment to the animals. It has been a pleasure working with all of you!
