MISSION: BIG CANAL, LITTLE KITTEN

We received a call last week from an observant individual about a kitten that was found in a canal at Jurong West Street 61. Being alone and lost, the wandering kitten was naturally frightened.

Our Animal Rescue Officers arrived at the scene and assessed the situation to help the little one. As the canal was quite deep, our officers attached a long pole to our rescue net. All’s well that ends well, the kitten was brought up to safety and away from danger. The adorable kitten is about 2.5 months old, and will be put up for adoption soon.

We would like to thank the kind individual for alerting us. If you spot any animals in need, here is how you can help – http://www.spca.org.sg/services_animal_rescue.asp
