If you happen to pick up any animal from the street, wet market areas, and any corner of our city, please bring the animal to the veterinary clinic for anti-rabies vaccination, before adopting it.

Monitor the newly adopted pet for 28days. Do not let your pet roams freely outside your house compound. Provide shelter, daily food and water, vaccinate it according to the vet’s advice.

Being a reaponsible pet owner, remember to desex your pet when it is around five to six months old (for younger ones).

These are the fundamental steps to prevent and stop rabies outbreak.

Together, let us be united to prevent and stop rabies outbreak in our HomeLand.
