Little Odin All Grown Up!

We love these stories because they prove just how vital people like you are. Marla and her family adopted Odin from a partner rescue in Canada. Our partner rescues ‘adopt’ dogs from our shelter in Thailand and help find them amazing homes like Marla’s. If you know of an animal rescue organisation in Canada or the US that might be interested in partnering with us, please send an email to partnerrescue@soidog.org. We are actively seeking new partner rescues. YOU can help us find more wonderful dogs like Odin happy homes.

Marla says: “… Odin [was] rescued as a baby pup along with his 5 siblings in 2015. Odin joined our family in May of 2016 and we love him. He’s a beautiful boy and we are thrilled that we’ve been able to provide him a good life… a very large fenced yard, neighbourhood walks, sleeping in our bed and on the furniture, and two ‘sister’ dogs to keep him company and play with. Odin hasn’t shed all of his street dog instincts/tendencies but he has come a long way and we are very proud of his progress.

“Odin’s striking appearance has always turned heads on our walks and has prompted many conversations with neighbours and strangers alike which have given me the opportunity to advocate for SDF. Odin makes for a great little ambassador!”
