FREE- RUNNING DOG SANCTUARY ALMOST OUT OF FOOD

Will you help us with food for Sasha Pesic’s free-running dog sanctuary in Serbia? Harmony Fund provides massive financial support every month, but we have a year-end shortfall of more than $5,000 (due to unplanned veterinary needs and the lower value of the US dollar).

We made this video about two years ago, but it’s our favorite way to tell the story of this special sanctuary. This is a place of hope for dogs. This week, we need to raise at least $4,000 for food for December and we certainly could use more so that we can be ready for January as well.

Anyone who has ever heard whispers of this sanctuary in Serbia knows what a magical place it is. This amazing haven is home to 600 rescued dogs. But this is no ordinary rescue center. What’s most incredible is not just the number of dogs who live here, but the WAY they live.

Rather than being warehoused in cages and kennels, the dogs here PLAY all day long. They experience joy, good food and human kindness – often for the very first time.

The cost of care for each dog here is $15 a month. All dogs are spayed/neutered and vaccinated. Please, please will some of you help us? We can’t reduce the dogs’ food intake and we certainly can’t pick and choose which dogs eat. This is one charitable investment that will bring you nothing but happiness.
