Brother would be Hazni's first experience in CNRM. So, understandably, she would be a little anxious.
This morning, Hazni sent these photos of Brother.
Mommy peeking in at Brother.
Brother is okay.
Hazni says he had already pooped, too. He is also not aggressive at all and did not vomit. Our vet just wanted to prepare Hazni for the worst possible case, so that she won't get a shock if it happens.
Here's Brother....already eating.
One free-roaming male cat neutered, thousands of unwanted pregnancies prevented!
And not forgetting, Brother would also not get prostate or testicular cancers and some other related illnesses now. He also won't go cranky during the mating period. Although it IS tampering with Nature, we believe neutering is for the greater good for our street animals.
The neutering of males is a very much simpler procedure compared to the OHE for the female. Some people still think the male cats should be spared and only females be spayed. We don't believe so. The males must be neutered, too. It's not only a safer and simpler procedure, but is also cheaper in cost. The male cat would only lose his mating instinct and sexual urges, so if he has any conditions like FIV or FeLV, he won't pass it on through sexual activities. He will also not lose his ability to defend his territory or fight (that has nothing to do with being neutered). Look at Cow and Bunny!
Viva la CNRM!
