A group of students from Hospitality Management and Culinary Faculty chose SSPCA as beneficiary for their MPU2112 Pengurusan Ko-Kurikulum. They are all animals lovers, especially dogs and cats.
The SEGi students baked cookies to raise funds for our shelter. They sold their delicious cookies during our off-site adoption canpaign at Green Heights Mall and our SSPCA Christmas Charity Carnival. They managed to raise RM1,815 through their efforts.
“We chose SSPCA because we want to try a new exposure, instead of blind center, old folks home or salvation army, for our community service. In this project, we learned and understood how much efforts SSPCA has done to rescue many animals lives. After completing our project, we hope that we can continue to lend our hands by participating in their future activities” said Ms Tara, leader of the team.
The students also organised an awareness talk on animals at their college whereby they invited their classmates and friends to learn and love animals.
Thank you, students of SEGi College, Kuching branch. We definitely enjoy working with this team, and thank you for putting so much efforts for our residents; cats and dogs.
Woof! Woof! Meow! Meow!
