Tago And His Bag Of Tricks

With looks that can get him places, why is Tago still in a shelter?

Read Tago’s story below and please email nayomi@soidog.org if you can offer this special cat a home of his own.

My fur is long and I have a mane that will make a lion cub jealous. And my eyes will melt your heart. My purr will leave you wanting more. I am cuddly. I am patient and calm.

You’d think with my personality and looks, that I have it all. Living a happy go lucky life.

I wish I were too and every day I hope I will find a human who will love me unconditionally and make space in their life to give me the home I never had.

I was born into a world where cats have to fend for themselves. I lived near a local temple here in Phuket, Thailand. My health was deteriorating and, if a kind person had not noticed that I needed help, I would have surely died.

He brought me to Soi Dog Foundation’s shelter. I was diagnosed with FeLV, a virus specific to cats.

The vets gave me medication and lots of love. Eventually my health improved and I was able to move into an enclosure with other cats like me. But I get so lonely in there with no human friends. I have other cat pals who are also FeLV positive, like Rassiano (who just likes to nap most of the day), Joey (who thinks he’s more handsome than the rest of us) and Appu (who only wants to try high jumping all day). But I am more of a people cat, and long for human attention more than anything else.

I watch all the humans pass our enclosure and I keep wishing they would come in and hold me in their arms all day. When someone does come in, I wait patiently for my turn, and I can never get enough of their love. The more I have the more I yearn.

FeLV means I cannot live with other healthy cats, but I can live a long and happy life … I am still very young and I am a real fighter.

Please will you give me the chance to live like a normal cat?

Will you give me a home with you? How I wish to make your sofa warm, quality test your beds when you put on new sheets, assist you with your sweeping chores and play with your toes …

Please don’t overlook a great cat like me, just because I have FeLV. I am a sweet boy who can add so much to your life. Give me a chance. I can even travel to the UK, EU, USA or Canada very easily.

Please get in touch. TODAY! Email nayomi@soidog.org
