Former Soldier Now Saves Lives Of Dogs

SOLDIER DEVOTES LIFE TO SAVING DOGS

Pinned down by enemy forces, Goran Samardzic watched helplessly as the soldier to his left and the soldier to his right were both killed. Goran himself was shot twice and bleeding badly. He never expected to make it out alive. Why was he spared? Did he have an unfulfilled mission on earth?

After the war, Goran found purpose in rescuing dogs. From his home-based shelter in Serbia, he is providing food, veterinary care and a safe place to sleep for former street dogs. He’s counting on us for food for his dogs.
