When Soi Dog UK President Donna Freelove wrote to legendary electronic artist Gary Numan (Gary Numan Official) to ask for his support, we were overwhelmed by his enthusiastic response.
Gary and his wife Gemma adopted a dog – Flake – from Soi Dog a few years ago. Flake was rescued from Thailand’s illegal dog meat trade.
Gary, Gemma, and their whole crew have worked to raise awareness about Soi Dog across social media channels, in pre-show television interviews, and at concerts. UK teams of volunteers have accompanied Gary on his UK tour collecting donations and raising awareness about Soi Dog and in particular, the fight to end the dog meat trade.
Gary’s tour extends to Europe, Canada, and the US, where teams of Soi Dog volunteers will also be collecting donations.
