*WARNING* – video contains plenty of squeaky sounds and loads of love!

Please email all questions to inga@soidog.org!

Jitjaidee is a cute, fluffy, blind boy and around 10 years old. He has an awesome long nose and likes to sniff out visitors in the enclosure with it. Once he found them, he settles down next to them and enjoys having his fur stroked.

When Jitjaidee arrived at the shelter here in Phuket, Thailand he was already missing one of his eyes. Unfortunately the remaining eye was blind and painful and had to be removed as well. He suffers from mild spondylosis and arthritis in his hip. He is currently not in any pain, although he may require medication to manage these conditions in the future.

The vets also found a foreign object on an x-ray, which they suspect to be a bullet. This does not cause Jitjaidee any pain at all, and the vets suspect the object has been there for some time. And so at present the vets believe there is no need to remove this object.

Jitjaidee is so full of love: he loves people, toys, naps, food and walkies. He also wouldn’t mind sharing his home with a canine sibling. Jitjaidee just needs a nice person to adopt him, who can give him all the love he deserves. Jitjaidee will definitely be generous in giving the love back!

Maybe you have experience of looking after a blind dog like him? Maybe you just have a lot of love to give and the time to help him adjust to life outside the shelter? Either way, we at Soi Dog Foundation would love to hear from you.

Please email inga@soidog.org to adopt Jitjaidee. He can easily travel to the USA, Canada, the UK or Europe. If you are unable to adopt him, please SHARE his story.
