Despite their busy teaching schedules, these eco-champion teachers from S.M.K Bukit Baru/Pendidikan Khas are dedicated to spend their precious hours to facilitate and lead students to be involved in the environmental activities.

Teaching students with special educational needs is never a stumbling block to inculcate the sense of love for nature. Eco-Schools programme encourages an all-inclusive, participatory approach involving students, teachers and the local community at large.

Field trip such as this allows them to experience a more holistic, integrated picture of the information that, in the classroom, can only been presented in a textual and abstract way.
