I WAS BLIND AND HOMELESS WHEN I WAS STRUCK BY A CAR

I was born on the streets with nobody to care for me. My name is Jamie. I developed cataracts at a young age and the cataracts went untreated. Eventually, I lost almost all of my sight. I was one of millions of street dogs struggling to survive in Thailand. But as a blind dog, I was especially vulnerable.

As I scavenged for food one day, I was struck by a car. Someone found me lying in the street, unable to move. I was brought to Soi Dog for medical care. Luckily I didn’t have any major injuries � I was just in shock. They took one look at me and knew I could not go back to the streets. I�ve lived at Soi Dog for a little over a year now.
