Managing Campus Cats

Below is a news article shared by Dr Veeranoot, who is now back home in Thailand. Dr Veeranoot has indeed laid the foundation for animal kindness during her tenure as an associate professor in Universiti Malaya. It is heartening to see her efforts being continued by her colleagues now.

Again, we look forward to the day when humans finally understand and embrace the idea of living harmoniously with community animals. They are only with us because our long-time ancestors invited them into their lives. They are already a part of our lives. Let us live harmoniously with them and since humans always claim to be “superior”, let this superiority be demonstrated in practising compassion towards all living beings.

There is no greater wisdom than kindness.
