3 WEEK OLD PUPPY RESCUED FROM POUND

“He is 15-20 days old,” Bosnian rescue Edina Pasic explains. “The monsters (dog catchers) took him away from his mother and his brothers and sisters. What is he going to do in this “shelter”, without his mom without food or water? His pen was empty and I accidentally saw him when I looked inside the houses. His head was turned towards the wall, not moving. I picked him up and he was so scared that he urinated on me. I have never seen a baby this tiny and this scared, he was just introduced to this world. When I tried to pet him he opened his mouth as if to defend himself. His eyes closed from the fear. They probably mistreated him and were rough with him and that’s where all the trauma came from. I have honestly never seen a 15 day old puppy this afraid of every movement. He can’t even eat on his own, how is he supposed to survive?”

Edina had no choice but to take the puppy home with her despite her massive financial burden for dozens and dozens of other dogs she is caring for. Today, Harmony Fund will help with this little one’s expenses and – thanks to all of you- he and thousands of other rescued animals will get all the care they need this month.
