THEY ATTACKED ME WITH A MACHETE

If you are shocked by my story, please take action now to help vulnerable animals like me. Please show me you care.

I was found with a horrendous wound on the back of my neck. The wound was shockingly deep, dangerously infected, and infested with maggots. It had clearly been like this for some time and with each passing day, the infection got worse and the pain became more and more unbearable. My name is Prokie and my future is now in your hands.

Please go to http://bit.ly/Save_Prokie to fund life-saving medical treatment for me and countless other homeless animals who have nobody else to turn to.

I was found by a kind lady who contacted the Soi Dog shelter. She said she had previously seen me chasing motorbikes many times and she suspected that some horrible person had attacked me with a machete as a result. They didn’t know that chasing the wheels was just a game to me and all they had to do was slow down or stop in order for me to stop chasing. Sadly, machete attacks like this are very common on vulnerable street dogs like me.

Thanks to people like you, the vets at the Soi Dog shelter are taking good care of me now. They are cleaning out the terrible wound daily, removing the maggots one by one. I have been put on special medicine for the pain and infection. I am definitely not out of the woods yet and they say I have a long road ahead of me. But I am still one of the lucky ones – please think of those still suffering.

Every day, Soi Dog Foundation picks up animals just like me. The sick, the injured, the abused, and the abandoned are all completely reliant on people like you. There is no government funding or any other source of help for us. Will you please go to http://bit.ly/Save_Prokie to fund medical treatment for homeless animals that have nobody else?

By doing this, you will become part of a small group of dedicated animal lovers who save the lives of countless suffering street dogs and cats. Animals like me simply have nowhere else to go and I would be dead now without people like you. Will you please go to http://bit.ly/Save_Prokie to help too?
