Leona Liman went on vegetarian for one month prior to her birthday just to raise funds for us, through SimplyGiving.

The fundraising period officially ended yesterday, so we would like to record our heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to Leona for doing what she did.

Thank you very much, Leona. We hope you've gain better health and wellbeing after becoming vegetarian for one month. The animals who come through AnimalCare will certainly benefit from the funds raised, and you have also saved many animals in that one month when you stopped eating meat.

I'd like to dedicate my latest book, Do we Have a Choice? to Leona for her noble and praiseworthy deed.

Leona, the girl with a heart of gold.
