A FOLLOW UP ON LITTLE LEWIS

Lewis was found seriously injured, with one of his eyes completely protruding from its socket. We don’t know how long he’d been like this before he was picked up and brought to our shelter. He’s only a few weeks old and was distressed and terrified. He’s also all alone in the world.

Please join our Care for Cats Club so that homeless kittens like Lewis can be given the chance they deserve. You can do this now by going to http://bit.ly/Help_Little_Lewis and making a promise to help.

It is likely that Lewis was hit by a motorbike, a popular mode of transport on this island, but as just another stray, he was left to fend for myself and with no owner to take him to a vet, he is lucky that a kind Samaritan found him and took action. Now however, he needs you to do the same.

To fund medical treatment for Lewis – and all the other cats who will arrive at our shelter this week alone – will you please go to http://bit.ly/Help_Little_Lewis to join the Care for Cats Club?

Sadly, Lewis had to have his damaged eye removed as it had sustained such terrible trauma that our vets were unable to save it. As it was causing him unbearable suffering, it was removed and Lewis is now resting and recovering, no longer in pain.

He will need ongoing care and love and eventually he will do just fine as a one-eyed kitten. But as you read his story, another suffering cat needs you. The Care for Cats Club is a very special group of cat lovers whose donations fund the rescue and life-saving medical treatment of sick, injured, abused or abandoned cats. In addition, they fund spaying and neutering, so that fewer cats like Lewis are born into a life of misery on the streets.

We desperately need more people like them. If you love cats, will you join the team? Please go to http://bit.ly/Help_Little_Lewis now to become a vital member of the Care for Cats Club and to make a real difference to the suffering cats of Asia.

Thank you for saving Lewis and countless others.
