My Name Is Jarrah. Please ADOPT Me!

Can you do something wonderful for me today? Can you please SHARE my story? I’ve been living in the shelter for over a year now. It’s time to go home – Please ADOPT me!

Please email inga@soidog.org to find out more about me.

My name is Jarrah and I am approximately 10 years old. I am a very gentle dog who enjoys the calm and the quiet. I love to spend my days dozing in the sun and I like to catch flies, or sky raisins as I like to call them. I would be lovely as an only dog but I could also be placed with a gentle canine brother or sister, as I happily co-exist with all the dogs in my enclosure.

I came to the Soi Dog shelter here in Phuket, Thailand because of issues with my skin and my eyes. Upon arrival the doctors here had to remove one of my eyes because it was causing me too much pain.

I do have some neurological deficits in my hind limbs and a mild degenerative joint disease. Joint support tablets help me with that. My skin is much better now and my fur has started to grow back. The people here say I look younger by the day. I even have a bit of a spring in my step when outside walking.

I am coping well with my little disabilities. What I need now is a home. A home with a kind and caring person with a huge heart who is determined to make up for all the hardship I have endured in my past and make my final years the best of my life.

Please email inga@soidog.org to find out more about me. If you can’t adopt me, please SHARE my story.
