Is Mr Zurik Back For Good?

Ever since coming back, Mr Zurik appears to be back for good now.
We can only think of these possibilities:
He tried out a new home, but prefers to come back to us. So, he’s back for good.He likes his new home, but his adopters went back for Hari Raya and are not back home yet, so he came back to us.During the few days that he disappeared, he had some “issue” to settle somewhere, but now he is back for good.
Of course we will never know which it is, but as long as he’s back with us, he is most welcome to stay.
It could also be (2) because Mr Zurik is very hungry these few days. Looks like his other food source is non-existent. Previously, he would only eat a little bit, but these days, he has been asking for a lot of food in between.
One good thing with him back, is that Mr Zurik is doing his CNRM-duty again by keeping all the other cats away. The new cats who tried to come into our territory have stopped trying now. Actually, the few who came have homes, so it’s good that they have gone back to where they came from.
We let him in, but he still prefers to stay outside in the porch.
