Real Patchwork Pieces
Tweet |
I’m back in sewing mode again and this time, we’ll be doing “real” patchwork pieces, making use of remnant cloth to create covers and blankets (made to order).
Last time, our patchwork pieces were made with specially bought/donated cloth so each one had designs, but this time, let’s do “real” patchwork of using remnant cloth in line with the practice of not wasting resources.
We do have quite a bit of remnant cloth from the shopping bags.
This is a piece created with patches of various sizes – mostly rectangles. No specific design. That’s what patchwork is “supposed” to be!
A cover for the cats’ cushion in Bunny’s Place.
This is created with bigger rectangles of a standard width but no fixed lengths.
If you are interested in ordering a cover or blanket made with this patchwork concept (no specific design, just random patches), please write to me at chankahyein@gmail.com. Please specify the size. All covers/blankets come with a backing (which may be patchworked as well). No padding in between.
100% of your donation will go to our Neutering Fund for the animals.
Thank you for your kind support!
