Dear Sir/Madam The Sarawak Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SSPCA) is a non-profit, community-based organization whose primary role is to protect and care for animals. The Society provides for the wellbeing of animals that are abandoned, injured, subjected to unfair or cruel treatment, or otherwise in genuine distress. SSPCA works to cultivate community awareness and to instil respect for, and appreciation of, the animals whose world we share. The Society is run purely on donations and the generosity of other animal lovers and the public. Fund raising is a constantly ongoing effort and it is with regards to our fund raising efforts that we are writing to your good self and your organisation. The Society will be organizing a fund raising Christmas Charity Bazaar for SSPCA on Saturday December 3rd, 2011 at the hall of the Christian Ecumenical Worhip Center, Association of Churches, Jalan Stampin from 11am to 7pm. This will be our major Fund Raising event for the SSPCA. Your generosity will sustain programmes and services provided by SSPCA and make a difference in the lives of hundreds of animals that are cared for at our Animal Shelter.
